Will You Continue to Add Workshops and Classes?

We are continually adding new workshops and searching the planet for the best experiences available.

Do I Initially Deal with The Photo Educator Directly?

We do the heavy lifting and make your experience of finding and booking a workshop a pleasure. After you book and make payment, we will coordinate and confirm with the photo educator. At this point, you will have direct access. However, we will be available throughout the process to assist you in any way.

What Exactly Does R O A M do?

We are a Platform Service Provider. R O A M offers an online platform to allow users to view, discover and purchase photography workshops, classes, etc offered by Photography Educators. What this means is that we act as an intermediary between the user and the photo educator. We facilitate the availability of the workshops and classes and collecting payments on behalf of the photography educators.

What happens if I pay R O A M and the workshop is full?

If you pay R O A M either a deposit or full payment and the workshop is not available, then a full, 100% refund will be sent to you. You also have the opportunity to use the credit on another workshop or experience if you so desire.

Are there any fees to join R O A M ?

There are NO fees to join or use the platform as a photographer, user, hobbyist or lover of photography. A platform fee is charged to the photo educator only.

How do refunds work with R O A M ?

Since R O A M acts as an intermediary between the photo educator and user, all policies and rules governing refund policies are dictated by each individual photo educator.

How do I get my workshops or classes listed on the platform?

For each Workshop or Class, you will fill out a form via the Photo Educator Menu. Our plan is to have an exclusive Photo Educator Portal in the near future. It is important that you provide us with detailed information and pics/videos that will help in promoting your experience. If you have any questions, please contact us and we would be more than happy to help with the process.

How long does it take and what are the requirements to be accepted to list on the platform?

The platform at R O A M is both agnostic and democratic meaning that whether you are a beginner or a pro, we want you part of our community. In other words, we are an inclusive community. Our curators hand-pick photo educators based on a number of factors that include your creativity, skills, and experience. As we learn more about your background and the experiences you wish to share, the more likely you will be selected.

The process generally takes between 2-3 days and you will be notified as soon as we finish reviewing your application.

Are there any fees?

To help cover the costs of the workshop listings, marketing, payment services, and support we provide, we charge photo educators who offer workshops and classes a 20% platform service fee. The amount of the service fee is calculated from the price that educators set for their workshop or experience.
