April 7-10, 2019
April in Savannah is a wonderful time with so much to experience and photograph. The weather is pleasant, the trees are filled with leaves, the Spanish moss decorates the branches, the fountains anchor the squares and the food is amazing!
This Photo Workshop is a combination of portrait and landscape shooting around town, at the beach and in the country. We’ll have live models as we explore off-camera flash for beautiful portraits and locations including visits to the Tybee Island Lighthouse and Beach Pier, the Old Sheldon Church Ruins and the Historic Riverfront.
During the week we’ll also have a classroom session to see tips, workflow and techniques to bring the most out of your images. You’re sure to head home with a lot of great photos you’ll want to display and your knowledge of photography will be expanded as we explore this beautiful town.
Transportation, lodging and food is not included, but we will make arrangements with our headquarters hotels for a special rate. Registration is limited to eight, so get your spot now!
Joe will be staying at the Holiday Inn Savannah Historic District $149/night
Lots of hotels in the Historic District where we will be based. Rates run from $84 to $269/night. There are also a large amount of very nice AirBnB places available at very reasonable rates.
A ridiculous number of great places to eat including Mrs. Wilkes, The Pink House, The Pirates House, etc.
And by the way, non-shooting spouses are welcome to join us at no charge for all of our touring!
